Position: Sr.Software Engineer (Guidewire)
Experience: 4+ years
Location: Trivandrum / Kochi (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize applications within the Guidewire suite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter).
- Write, debug, and maintain code using Gosu, the Guidewire platform’s Java-based language.
- Design and implement integrations between Guidewire applications and other systems.
- Utilize the Guidewire-specific testing platform for unit testing and regression testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and QA testers, to ensure project success.
- Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure coding standards are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the Guidewire applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with the Guidewire platform.
- Proficiency in Gosu and Java development.
- Strong understanding of insurance domain processes and workflows (policy, billing, claims).
- Experience with Guidewire configuration and integration development.
- Familiarity with the Guidewire testing framework and tools.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in the Guidewire suite (e.g., ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter).
- Experience with web services (SOAP/REST) and integration tools.
- Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL and data modeling.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
